Huge congrats to Mark Trumbo on being selected to represent the Los Angeles Angels at the MLB All-Star Game in Kansas City. I was lucky enough to see and hear firsthand how hard he worked this offseason, and seeing it pay off (and then some) is just outstanding. I couldn’t be any happier for him. He was asked to learn a new position during the offseason, wasn’t getting nearly enough at-bats at the beginning of the season, but never lost focus or perspective, never hung his head about playing time, never stopped battling, and just kept working hard every day.

What a great honor for a guy who absolutely deserves it.
